My name is James Tighe. I have been working in the wonderful world of IT for around 14 years now (time flies when you’re having fun!).

I have worked my way from 2nd Line support in a Microsoft MSP up to a Cloud Consultant in that time. I have a massive passion for IT and adapting to the constant changes that come thick and fast.

My main focus is Cloud based platform design and implementation. Including: Remote Desktop Services and WVD, Intune MDM, Office 365 Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, as well as Cloud migration strategies and deployment.

My other passion in IT is development of web UI’s for various tasks. Leveraging such technologies as: .NET Standard/Core, RazorPages, Blazor, JavaScript/JQuery, C#, Azure SQL Databases, PowerShell, Azure Automation and more.

I very much focus and work to a DevOps way of thinking, and am excited by all the automation functionality currently available to us. I am a big advocate of automation of deployments and management of services.

Hopefully, this blog will start to fill up with (I hope) interesting posts about IT that will help people out.
