Deployment Update – AVD-BICEP

This is just a quick update to advise of several updates to my BICEP deployment project (finally!)

I am going to aim to get this covered in a full blog post shortly but I realised that my GitHub had not been updated in a long time, and the code was actually out of date. . .

The code itself has had a number of improvements to fix some little bugs and naming issues. But the main additions are:

  • Support for Trusted Launch machines (dependant on suitable Azure Compute Image)
  • Azure Monitor configuration using Data Collection Rules

I have also severely cleaned up the code and commented the various sections to make it a little more readable.

For those interested in the code it is in my GitHub account:

https://github.com/jamesatighe/avd-bicep

The main readme.md has now been updated to show the various changes over time and provide a little better information about the code and its usage.

Please be aware the new code is under the BICEP folder.

Any issues let me know. I am going to try to keep working on the project as there are a number of changes and additions I want to make.

Anyway until next time!

James
